A day to day look at traveling the roads of America from the eyes of an over the road trucker with 30+ years experience. If you follow you will also have to put up with what is in my head.
I am married 32 1/2 years and live in E. Texas. We have one son and 3 grandchildren. Although I have BS degree and have tried management several times, I have found I am more comfortable just driving a truck. You keep your record clean and drive safely you will always have a job. When lost management jobs, I was always able to get one driving.
I have always loved writing, haven't done enough of it to increase my vocabulary over the years, but no time like the present to start. Thanks to Eric and Jamie's living in China and getting me hooked on blogs, I have decided to write my own.
I am a long haul truck driver and I travel 48 states. I have done this off and on most of my working career, getting my commercial license in 1972 just to pull uncle's dozer around town. If anyone follows this maybe they will get some idea what I am going through. What any truck driver goes through and what he gives up in his life. It is very lonely and not for everyone.
